Funny topic of the day in class: the noises animals makes. Apparently dogs don't "woof" or "bark", frogs don't "ribbet", birds don't "tweet", and bells don't "ding dong". She had a different sound for each object, but I have no clue how to spell any of them.
They have Pringles here! I was so relieved... until I spun the can around and it said "jamon" flavor. They really love ham here.
I met a young British couple in the cafeteria, and they unfortunately happen to be leaving on Saturday. They've been here since September (10 months?!?) and are going back to England to finish their last year of college. The girl was from Liverpool which I found very exciting (John Lennon's hometown) and they didn't hate me when I mentioned my passion for the Harry Potter books/movies.
Today it felt like we had breakfast for dinner. There was fried eggs in a sauce, salchicon (sausage links), and little fried potato cubes that looked a lot like hashbrowns. I'm not complaining! Breakfast is my favorite meal of the day, and it's hard to fulfill that when their idea of breakfast is toast and coffee.
